Padre Terminal · Effective September 2, 2026

Padre Terminal is designed as a local-first organizer. Your note text, checklist contents, archive state, settings, and reminder details are stored on your device and are not sent to Padre Terminal's server.

Who we are

This policy applies to the Padre Terminal Android application and the first-party pages at padreterminaltracker.app. The developer is identified as Padre Terminal. Privacy and support questions can be sent to [email protected].

Information stored on your device

The app stores entries you create, including titles, note text, checklist items, colors, pinned or archived state, reminder times, and appearance settings, in the app's local storage on your phone. Android also stores the reminder schedule needed to deliver notifications. Local backup codes are created only when you request one and remain under your control.

Network activity

At launch, the app connects to padreterminaltracker.app over HTTPS to load the application interface. Organizer content is not included in those requests. The provided server configuration disables routine access logging. Network and hosting providers may process limited technical connection information, such as IP address, request time, and user agent, as necessary to deliver and protect the service.

When loading web content, the applicable privacy terms of the content provider may apply. Any future feature that introduces accounts, synchronization, analytics, advertising, or other data collection will require this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration to be updated before use.

Permissions

Sharing, advertising, and analytics

The current release contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account system, content-sync service, or sale of personal information. Padre Terminal does not share your organizer content with third parties.

Retention and deletion

Local organizer data remains on your phone until you delete individual entries, use “Erase all entries,” clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Because Padre Terminal does not receive this content, it cannot recover it or delete a copy from a server. Backup codes remain wherever you choose to save them.

Security

The Android app blocks cleartext network traffic, restricts unsafe navigation schemes, enables WebView Safe Browsing, and limits access to its native reminder bridge. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure, so keep exported backup codes in a safe place.

Children

Padre Terminal is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page by updating the effective date. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy.
